Celebration of Life with the Passing Of "William (Bill) Robertson III - 95-Years young

William Was a "Eagle Scout at age 16-yrs" He was  Free Mason of 32nd Degree, He was a Knights Templer.
He Served in the USAAC (United States Army Air Corps during WWII from 1943 to 1945. He was a Staff Sergeant , a Navigator and a Radio Operator who new Morse Code.
 
He was in the 330th Boumber Group on a B-29 Superfortress Airplane nick name Babies buggy. the Air B-29 Superfortress was the same size as and plane style as the Enola Gay..
 
 
. His Crew 901, flew K-52 (42-93964 and 44-61618) for 20 missions. "City of Rock Islandaka "Babies Buggy"This crew was awarded multiple Air Medals and DFC's. The FE, Garrett was replaced by FO George Boutross at the end of May 1945. Here they are in July 1945. He later beame a "Master Electrical Engineer. He had work for the Corps of Engineers , He had work for
Vitro Labatories and later with De lue Cather and Parsons a "Conulstion Engineer Firm" out of Washington,DC.
 
William Robertson III was devoted to his work, family and friends and His church. 

On September 23, 2019. He is survived by his children, Bonnie Hill , William (Bill) Robertson IV  and Nancy J. Smith and his Grandchildren Ashley N. Smith of Rockville, Jim R. Smith III and Lindsay M. Smith both of Gaithersburg,md  and Kristine L. Settle & Suzanne S. Settle both of Frederick,Md , Jeff M. Hill of Oregon and many Nieces and Nephews and Great-Grandchildren
 
He is predeceased by his wife Joy R. Robertson and daughter Holly S. Cook. A Celebration Of Life Service will be on October 5, 2019 at 11 a.m., Covenant United Methodist Church, 20301 Pleasant Ridge Dr., Montgomeryvillage,Md 20886
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church.
