Veronica Elis Johnson , 61, passed on March 23, 2022. She was born to Tristen Johnson and Asia Johnson in Charlotte, North Carolina on January 12, 1961.

She married Michael Dawkins in 2000 and they lived together in Jacksonville, Florida. Together they raised 3 children Michele Dawkins, Warren Dawkins , Samuel Dawkins . She is also survived by 2 grandchildren.

Veronica graduated from West Charlotte highschool in 1979 and received a degree from the Spelman College in 1983.

Veronica worked at Professor at Jacksonville University and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.

Veronica served his country for 5 years as a Logistics specialist in the Navy .
