Live a life full of passion
Born September 30, 1985 as the son of Shasheem Najm and Aliyah Najm, Faheem R. Najm, commonly known as T-Pain, grew up in Tallahassee, Florida. From an early age T-Pain had a strong love of music. At the age of 10, he had turned his bedroom into a make-shift music studio completed with a keyboard, a beat machine, and a four-track recorder. After highschool, Pain joined the rap group 'Nappy Headz' and was soon discovered by Akon, who granted him a deal with his label, 'Konvict Muzik.'
Releasing many successful albums such as his debut album 'Rappa Ternt Sanga' (2005), 'Epiphany' (2007), and 'THR33 RINGZ' (2008), Pain became known for popularizing the Auto-Tune pitch correction effect. Dressed as a big blue creature called 'The Monster', T-Pain won the first season of The Masked Singer in 2019. He went on the show to prove he could sing perfectly without the Auto-Tune and say 'f--k you' to the haters. In 2021, Pain used his interest in liquor, mixology, and music to publish a book with Maxwell Britten called Can I Mix You a Drink? A year later, Pain opened a restaurant at the beginning of his Road to Wisconsin Tour. His decisions were explained in his quote, "I'm taking the leap on anything I truly love."
You can to the family or in memory of Faheem Najm.
