Verna Shirley Kirkland , 62, passed on September 27, 2022. She was born in Dublin, Georgia on July 06, 1960 to Rose Kirkland & The Late Jerry Wright. She was the third of seven siblings. Verna graduated from Dothan High School. She was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She loved helping people. Verna was a true soldier at the Peaceful Zion church of the Lord. She loved telling jokes, bike riding and her children. She was a CNA where she worked helping people.

Verna will be remembered by her mother Rose Kirkland; children; Kenyatta, Shanika, Rashad Kirkland; sisters and brothers; Diane, Frederick, Debra, Alfred, Shana, Muriel & Henry Bryant. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; neices, nephews, great nephews and a host of other family & friends.
