Loudella Thomas, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on April 2, 2026, in Uniontown, Alabama. She was born on June 5, 1953, to Author Leroy Lewis and Annie Mae Lewis.

She married the love of her life, Joseph Amond Thomas, in the year 15, and together they raised a beautiful family. Loudella is survived by her 10 children: Bruce, Tracy, Kimberly, Jennifer, Mervin, Charles, Cynthia, Lisa, Barber Ann, and Crystal.

Loudella was a dedicated employee at Alacare Home & Health Hospice, where she worked until her retirement in 2000. She was a graduate of Thomaston High School, class of 1970.

Outside of work and family, Loudella enjoyed spending her time playing Bingo and visiting the casino with friends. She had a zest for life and a contagious laugh that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Although Loudella is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of her children and grandchildren. May she rest in peace.
