We are saddened to announce the passing of Tom Harris, born on 08/10/1950 in Decatur, Alabama, United States. He passed away on 09/26/2025.

Tom was the beloved son of Frank and Dorothy Harris and the loving spouse of Rose Harris, whom he married in 1983. Together, they raised four children: Dora Durham (spouse Rondell), Divine Smith (spouse Aaron), Edwin Harris, and Richard Harris (spouse Shantell). He was also a proud grandfather to three grandchildren.

Tom attended Mumford High School and continued his studies at Alabama A&M. He worked as a Mechanic but his true passions in life were boxing, taking care of his family, and traveling back home to Detroit, MI.

Tom will always be remembered for his sense of humor, his love for his family, and his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Tom's sudden passing was due to a mild cardiac infraction (heart attack). He will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
