THELMA M. MULHALL, 87 MONROE, WI. - Thelma M. Mulhall, age 87, of Monroe, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the New Glarus Home. She was born on March 30, 1928 in Hazel Park, MI., the daughter of Stanley and Ada (Sibbald) Bowron.Thelma graduated from Hazel Park High School. Thelma and John Mulhall were married on July 22, 1950 in Hazel Park, MI. Thelma worked for the the Swiss Colony in the sales department for 13 years, retiring in 1986. She volunteered at the Saint Clare Hospital Auxiliary Department for many years. She was a member of the Green County Extension Homemakers and volunteered for the March of Dimes. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, cooking, ceramics and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, John Mulhall of Monroe, sons, Robert (Lynette) Mulhall of McConnell, IL; William (Evelyn) Mulhall of Fitchburg; Pat (Melody) Mulhall of New Glarus; Richard (Anne) Mulhall of North Brook, IL; Barry (Audrey) Mulhall of Deerfield, WI; Thomas (Catherine) Mulhall of McHenry, IL; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents; sisters, Marian Vasbinder and Betty Fleming. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 14th, at 11 a.m. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Bronkema, of Warren Methodist Church officiating. Fellowship at Grace Lutheran Church following services. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, January 14th, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
