Lonnie Cross, 56, of Bellwood, Illinois, passed away on August 7, 2026. Born on November 1, 1969, Lonnie lived a life full of passion and dedication. He was known for his unwavering kindness and his willingness to help others in their times of need. Lonnie had a remarkable ability to connect with those around him, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was deeply involved in his community, often volunteering his time and resources to various local initiatives. Lonnie will be remembered for his vibrant spirit and the genuine compassion he showed to all. He will be sorely missed.

Hie leaves in mourning, His beloved wife Jeri Johnson-Cross, one son Lonnie Cross Jr, two daughters Ebony and Tatianna Cross, three stepdaughters Carolyn, Carenn and Crystal, one brother Cleadus Cross and one sister Rebecca Cross. He also has cherished loved ones who preceded him in his death. His parents Joe and Mary Cross, his sisters Vanessa and Rita Cross and brother Michael Cross.
