Sharon K Bowen, a lifelong resident of Joliet, IL passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2022 at the age of 63. She was born June 1, 1959 and adopted by Edward and Betty Scott.

She is survived by her husband Neal; her sons Scott (Kara) Lorenc and Jason (Vanessa) Bowen; her step-children Gary (Stacy) Bowen, Theresa (Stephen) King, Raymond (Jefra) Bowen, and Shawn (Jessica) Bowen; four grandchildren, Landon, Braydon, Camdon, and Mia; her sister, Tammy (John) Fultz and brother Phillip Pfingston; and nephews Anthony (Karen) Gomez, James Gomez, Martin Gomez & Brandon Gomez.

Preceded in death by her parents Edward Scott and Betty Coop, sister Sherry Gomez, and brothers Bobby Pfingston & Steven Scott.

A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, October 28th at 3pm at Grace United Methodist Church, 1718 Avalon Ave, Joliet, IL 60435. Pastor Romir Esguerra will officiate.
