Rosemary Baines, "Rose" or "Miss. Rose" affectionately called by many was born November 20th, 1946 in Alma, Alabama to Ella Lee Stone. She was the oldest child of Percy Collins Sr. she was blessed to be reared in a God fearing home by Percy and Estella Elizebeth (Clay) Collins, with one brother, Percy Jr., three sister: Jean, Eartha and Ava.

Two sisters, Eartha and Joyce and one brother Darius, along with her parents preceeded her in death.

The Godly examples set before her in her home shaped her growing faith and hope in God. At the age of nine, Rose confessed a belief in Christ at The Second Baptist Church of LaGrange where her family attened faithfully under the leadership of the late Pastor J.W.R. Owens. She sang in the Junior Choir, attended BTU, GA's Girls and the Starlight Band. Later she joined St. James Community CHurch in Broadview, Illinois under the leadership of Pastor Joseph Richardson.

In 1987 Rose united with Family Alter Evangelistic Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Jennie L. Petties where she recieved extensive spirtual training. She was loyal and faithful to her church and Pastor.

She taught Sunday School, served on the Nurse's Board, Pastor's Aide, was licensed as a Missionary and later become the Overseer of the Mission Ministry where she served diligently until she made transition. Her faithfullness to God, her Pastor and her church moved her to a higher calling. After several years of studying, training and prayers, Rose went from being reconized as Rosemary Baines to Reverend Rosemary Baines a licensed ordained Minister.

In 1964, Rose was united in Holy Matrimony to Clarence Dent. To this union four children were born: Verdell, Patrick, Lyndora, Gerri and Nichole. She was a loving mother, who loved to cook and bake, was ful of life and laugher possessing as unwavering love for God, her children, her family, friends. clarence and daughters Lyndora and Gerri preceded her in death.

In November, 1978 Rose was united in Holy Matrimony to Eddie Baines. Eddie's three children: Joseph, Verlisa and Liz, were added to their family. Eddie was her rock and strengh and her stability. Her husband Eddie and son Joseph preceded her in death.

Rose loved to travel with family and friends. She had love for all her kids, grands, nieces and nephews big and small.

On October 12, 2021 at 6:20 pm in Gottlieb Hospital, Rose went from labor to reward.

Rose, our Rose, leaves to cherish fond memories in the hearts of three daughters Nichole (Jerry) Binford, Liz and Verlisa Baines, one son Verdell Patrick (Denne) Dent, six sisters Jean (Frank) Sanders, Ava Bomar, Betty Sloan, Jessie Craig, Nancy Rashida, Wanda Cleveland, three brothers: Percy Jr., Willie and Nate Cleveland, eleven grandchildren: Crystal, Jatoyia, Christopher, Aiesha, Aaron, Ebony, Dominic, Brenita, Quintin, Jaylin, Jordon, six great grandchildren: Christian, Alaya, Aysia, Gabriel Kendall Emory and a host of nieces and nephews cousin and friends.
