HAMPTON - Ronald L. Angle, age 77, died on November 22, 2016 at his home in Hampton, Virginia surrounded by the love of his family. "Ronnie" was born on June 21, 1939 to Amidee L. and Adelaide V. Angle who were waiting for him in heaven with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In February 1961, he married Sandra Booth Angle and together they raised three children. He retired in 1997 from the X42 Pipe Department of Newport News Shipbuilding after 38 years of service. Since his retirement, he and Sandra have enjoyed their lives fully by remaining actively involved and surrounded by their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and best friend and four-legged girl "Lucy", he is survived by his children, Kathy (Clint) Grishaw, Kevin (Annette) Angle, and Amy (Pete) Veneris; his five grandchildren, Clint Grishaw, Jr.; Kimi (Jamie) Faircloth; Katie (Dillon) Tarver; Rachel Veneris; and Adam Veneris, and his great grandchildren, Wesley Grishaw, Alyssa Grishaw, Rylee Faircloth, Baylee Faircloth, Avery Faircloth, Noah Tarver, and Cullen Tarver as well as his sisters, Patricia Ransom and Betty (Billy) Wood and his brother, Larry (Judy) Angle. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the kindness and care provided by all of his doctors, nurses, and other caregivers from Virginia Oncology Associates and Sentara Hospice during his lengthy illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the or CBN's Operation Blessing. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of "Ronnie's" life will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, November 28, 2016 at the mausoleum chapel at Parklawn Memorial Park.
