Roberto graduated from Harlandale High School in 1973. Roberto worked at Alamo City Lifts.

Robert, as he is known by everyone, was a family first man.  He loved his daughters, his son and all his brothers, sister, nieces, and nephews.

Robert had a passion for competition and coaching. He coached little league at the Five Diamonds for many years during the late 80's and early 90's.  His daughter, Yvette; son, Bobby, and nephew Joey were among the hundreds of young athletes with which Robert shared his joy. Robert developed countless lifelong friendships with players, parents, and other coaches on the fields of Five Diamonds. Robert was so grateful and enthusiastic about being given an opportunity to do it all over again when his youngest daughter Anissa was born in 2003.

One of his skillful obsessions was the game of pool and Robert loved working on his craft.  He played in many pool leagues throughout the years and He always looked forward each year to qualifying with his team for an annual pool tournament in Las Vegas.

Robert was also an avid reader. One of his favorite genres were those legal thrillers written by John Grisham, followed by self-motivational books.  Robert was a critical thinker who could carry a conversation about many wide-ranging topics.  His family will always remember him taking the long way home, just to extend quality time together.

Robert relished the role of being a grandfather.  Bella, Albert, Ethan and Ceasar also are fortunate to have been able to share many of those same experiences. He cherished being present for music recitals, volleyball, softball, baseball and football games.

This unique and unforeseen time makes giving Robert a proper farewell difficult.  Rest assured, the family will remember Robert as a gregarious, witty, and benevolent man that naturally attracted many friendships.  He will be missed tremendously.
