Patricia Sledge, 71 of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Born on January 21, 1948, in Chicago Illinois to Arthur and Rosemary Sledge, who preceded her in death as did her Step-Father Charles Nelson and brother Arthur Sledge Jr.

Patricia was educated in East Moline, and Evanston, Illinois and continued her education in Community College,  She then became a Paralegal for Attorney Alexander, she was an integral part of the Evanston Law Office.

Patricia was an dedicated employee of Gateway Foundation for over twenty-five years and was a compassionate and giving person loved by all she came in contact with. Patricia also worked for United Airlines and flew all over the world with family and friends. 

Patricia enjoyed music, gardening, cooking, and helping others. She especially loved spending time and traveling with her family.  Patricia is survived by seven beloved first cousins, Judy Lewis, Geraldine Harrison, Carole Boone, Crystal Boone, Elbert Edwards, Jesse Fisher and Leon Fisher.  She had a host of beloved friends who love to visit and play cards, cook and have a good time.
