Mr. Otis Hayward, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and member of the Jacksonville community, passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 68. He was born on October 20, 1955, to Issac Hayward and Betty J. Simmons in Jacksonville, Florida.

In 1993, Otis married the love of his life, Jeanie Hayward, and together they had one child, Otis I Hayward Jr. Otis was a devoted husband and a loving father, always putting his family first. He was a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren.

Throughout his life, Otis dedicated himself to his work. He was a skilled plumber who worked for Four Star Plumbing and Royal Services, where he was highly respected by his colleagues and clients. In addition to his professional work, Otis was also active in the community, volunteering his time and talents to The Church Without Walls organization.

One of Otis's favorite pastimes was cooking on the grill. He loved hosting backyard barbecues for family and friends, and his delicious meals were always a hit. Otis had a warm and welcoming personality, and he never hesitated to lend a helping hand to those in need.

On April 15, 2024, Otis Hayward passed away due to heart failure. His presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
