Nanette (Epps) Singleton born (July 8, 1941) in Petersburg, VA, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2019 in Tampa, Florida after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary (Bland) Epps. She is survived by her brother, James (Iris) Epps, son, Alexander J. Bailey (Karla), granddaughters, Adrienne (Bailey) Davis and Amanda Bailey, goddaughter, Niki West, and three great grand children. A small family remembrance was held in Tampa. A lifelong animal lover, she requested that, in lieu of flowers or cards, donations be made to the Big Cat Rescue Educational Sanctuary in Tampa, FL. Nannette, known as Ms. Singleton to so many in the Petersburg, VA community, was a beloved, mentor, and advocate.  She will be missed.
