Mary Melinda Conwill Wells, 57, died Saturday, December 10, 2016 at North Miss. Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. A lifelong resident of Lee County, she was born on March 15, 1959, to Billy Mark Conwill and Martha Ann Young Conwill Eckersley. She was a 1978 graduate of Shannon High School. She was a member of Brewer Baptist Church. She worked for Mississippi Probation Services Inc. since 2001, where she loved her job as a Probation Officer in Lee County. She was very giving of her time to organizations such as Awanas, Boy Scouts and Nettleton Food Pantry. She loved giving a helping hand to ones who needed it, and always tried her best to go above and beyond for those who needed help. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren, which she loved to help with their many activities.Services will be at 11 AM Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Tim Tutor officiating. Private burial will follow in Brewer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM today, Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Condolences may be left at hollandfuneraldirectors.com or emailed to [email protected] She is survived by two daughters, Heather Wells Barlow of Fulton and Beth Wells of Brewer; her son, William Arthur Wells of Brewer; four grandchildren, PFC Mark Wells (Kendra) Fort Meade, MD, Nathan Mills and April Mills both of Brewer, MS, Dominic Barlow of Fulton, MS; One great-grandchild, Jasper (Squishy) Smith; Her sister, Tami Baughman (Dewayne) and her nephew, Billy Baughman all of Brewer, MS; her Aunt, Altha Jean Young of Houston, MS; Two Step-Brothers and Three Step-Sister and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents and her Step-father, Arthur Eckersley and her dear friend and mentor, Paul Newman. Pallbearers will be, Steve Driskill, Brad Murphy, Jimmy Lee Underwood, Joe Harris, Eddie McPherson and Cliff Tidwell.
