Russell Wayne Hayward, 63, of Long Beach, Mississippi, passed away on September 22, 2026. He was born on July 23, 1963, in Garfield, Kansas.

Russell was known by many as a true jack of all trades. If something was broken, he wanted to fix it, and he usually could. He spent more than 25 years working for Paige Construction, where his skills and work ethic were valued. Outside of work, he enjoyed video games and had a special love for cats.

He is survived by his daughters, Danielle Fahrney, Destiny Hayward, and Devin Christiansen; his stepchildren, Belle Cunningham and Mark Thrush; and seven grandchildren. Though life took each of them down different paths, his children loved and cared for him.

A private family service will be held at Jones Park in Gulfport, Mississippi, on October 15, 2026.
