Mary Cook, 92, of Elgin, Illinois, passed Tuesday, April 28, 2020. Mary was born to Warren Johnson, and Hattie Johnson, March 28, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois. She married Will Cook in 1969, and they lived together in Elgin. Mary worked as a Pastor until she retired in 2010.

Mary is survived by her grandchildren, Rayshawn, Malcom, Trinity, Sierra, Kenneth, Shearon, and Leticia; her son, Reggie; daughter Cynthia; daughter-in-law, Annie Snider; and son-in-law Kevin Kesler, all of Chicago, IL. She also is survived by her brother, Terry Johnson, and sister-in-law, Marsha Johnson, of Grayslake, Ill.; her niece and nephew, Natalie Johnson and Trinity Johnson; and her spouse, Will Cook, and family.

A memorial will be held after the public health crisis passes.
