Marie Rebecca Taylor, 98, passed on December 21, 2021. She was born to Joseph and Annetta Breauxbridge in Lawtell, Louisiana on February 01, 1923.

She married Derrick Eli Taylor in 1942 and they lived together in Houston, Texas. Together they raised 4 children Michael Taylor (Brenda), Ricky Taylor (Augustina), Robert Taylor (Janet), Paul Taylor (Angela). She is also survived by 2 grandchildren Priscilla Taylor - Daughtry and Andrea Taylor - Turner

Marie graduated from Carver in 1941 and received a degree from the Sam Houston State University in 1946.

Marie worked at Acres Home Health Center until he retired in 1985 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.
