We are saddened to announce the passing of Margarita Mendez, born on January 23, 1953, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Hector and Solania Moran. Margarita passed away on February 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She married the love of her life, Francisco Mendez, in 1978, and together they had four children - Gloria, Daisy, Pedro, and Marcelina. Margarita was a devoted grandmother to seven grandchildren.

Margarita spent many years volunteering at Saints Peter's Church before retiring in 2023. She was known for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and delicious homemade tamales.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Margarita leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be cherished forever.
