Loletta Mary Beck Hazen "MeMe", 102 years old, of Fort Worth, Texas, went to be with her Lord peacefully at home on April 09, 2023. MeMe was born in Ellzey, Florida on January 05, 1921 to James and Mary Beck.
Loletta Mary Beck Hazen was also known as Becky to many and as MeMe to many others. Becky was born and raised in Florida and eventually made it Texas where she would spend her remaining years serving in churches and in education while building, loving and supporting her family. Becky was a prayer warrior and served the prayer ministries at her church. She would also create and distribute letters of encouragement to those in her neighborhood. In her advanced years, she was proud to be in God’s service and refused to be sidelined by numbers on a calendar.
She was preceded in death by and now in heaven with: her parents James and Mary Beck; her many brothers and sisters; her husband Earl Hazen; her son-in-law Phillip Simmons: and her grandson David Simmons.
She is survived by: her Hazen nephews and nieces, Haney and Mary Wilkerson, Boots, Rusty, and Tammy Hazen; her Beck nieces Sherli Byington, Betsy Latiff, Denise Loe, Barbara Smith, Karen Wallace and Eloise Marshall; her sister-in-law Doris Bass Beck; her daughter, Cheryl Graves and husband Richard Graves; her grandchildren, Kelly Simmons wife of David Simmons, Drew Simmons and wife Jana, Matthew Simmons and wife Carrie; her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Jarrett, Bryson, Jackson, Addison, Taryn, Landri, Kian; and her great-great grandchild Oakley.
