LaToya Denise White, 35, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, made her transition on October 22, 2019. LaToya was born on May 21, 1984 to her loving parents Sherry Sanders and Eddie B. Sanders in Kankakee, Illinois. LaToya known to all as Toya, TeTe or Mommy, leaves to mourn: Children: Mandrell Maxwell, Mahniyah Maxwell, Nasjarae White, mom Sherry Sanders, mom#2 Otha Hayes, Siblings: Patsy (Willie) Hill, Chris Speltz, Romelle Speltz, Maurice Speltz, Tom Washington, Claude Washington, Rachelle Washington, Mallory Washington, Aunt Denise Jefferson of Chicago, Illinois, Uncle Lavester White of Minneapolis, Minnesota.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, god children, honorary children, and friends. LaToya was preceded in death by both fraternal grandparents Lacey and Deatto Sanders, and paternal grandparents Catherine and Lavester White, aunt Tina, uncle Theodore Sanders, and her father Eddie B.

LaToya gave her all with no complaints. LaToya a loving daughter, mother, sister, friend. She was Auntie/Momma to so many. Her house was always full. If I could describe Toya in one phrase it would be that she loved unconditionally, she would tell you how she felt about you, feed you and then offer you a place to sleep.
