, age 57, of Kingwood, Texas passed away on April 24, 2013. He was born on December 30, 1955 in Ratton, New Mexico.

Kurt graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering. He went on to work for next 35 years in the Petro Chemical field. Kurt's proudest moment is knowing his beautiful daughter Erin will be graduating and perusing her passion despite this difficult time. Kurt was passionate about visiting family and friends in New Mexico, gardening, and was an avid collector of post cards and elephants.

Kurt is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Beth Floersheim, his daughter Erin Floersheim, mother Lyn Floersheim, brother Scott Floersheim and his wife Jean and daughter Kate, as well as his extended family and friends in New Mexico and Texas. Kurt is preceded in death by his father Carl Floersheim, Jr. and his younger brother Mark Floersheim.

A visitation took place on Monday, April 29, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, Texas 77339. The funeral service was at Kingwood First Baptist Church, 3500 Woodland Hills, Kingwood, Texas 77339 at 12:00 p.m.
