HIVELY, Kathryn Louise (Williard)Kathryn Louise (Williard) Hively died on October 21, 2016 at her Fountainview apartment in West Palm Beach, FL. Louise was born on September 15, 1925 in Williamstown, PA. She was the eighth of ten children of the late Burton and Mary (Frantz) Williard. She was a graduate of Williamstown High School. Louise was living in Harrisburg, PA with her sister June and working in the State Capitol Building when she met her future husband on a blind date. On December 11, 1948, she was united in marriage to Dr. J. Richard Hively at Grace United Methodist Church in Harrisburg. Dick and Louise moved to Windsor, PA in 1950 where Dick set up his dental practice and Louise was his sole assistant and office manager until Dick's death in 1981. Louise was the best of all mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers. She will be forever missed and loved by her three children: James R. Hively (Margaret) of Duncannon, PA, Jane L. Zarfoss of West Palm Beach, FL, and Ariella Lehrer (David) of Los Angeles, CA. Louise cherished her eight grandchildren and their families: Lindsy Hively Saunders (Patrick) and Allison Hively Kasper (Lewis), Mitzi Zarfoss Cook (Christopher) and Jay Zarfoss (Stefanie), and Eli Lehrer (Sari), Jonah Lehrer (Sarah), Rachel Lehrer, and Leah Lehrer. In the last few years, she also joyfully celebrated the births of her nine great-grandchildren, with two more on the way. Louise enjoyed playing bridge and golf well into her 80's, but it was her family that was her life's meaning and focus. We will celebrate Louise's life as we inter her ashes next to her husband at New Harmony Presbyterian Church in Brogue, PA.
