Joe Oliver (Grandpa Joe), 54, went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2017 in Chetek, WI.

There will be a memorial service held this Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Spirit Life Church, 221 Lake St. N. in Big Lake, MN. Visitation will begin at 10 AM with a service at 11 AM. Lunch and fellowship to follow.

Joe is survived by his four children: Sara, Heidi (Chris), Jeremy (Susie), and Jason (Courtney) along with his grandkids: Mikel, Elijah, Prisilla, Serendipity, Gunnar, Noah, Ember and Shayla.

He is also survived by siblings: Mary, Mike (Nancy), Lori (Steve), Joanie (Paul), Patty, Sue (Pete), Katie (Roger), and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Richard & Joan Oliver, and his nephew, Travis Oliver.

Joe was born March 18, 1963 in Minneapolis, MN to Joan and Richard Oliver. He worked as a culinary master for many years at a variety of food locations. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and hardly missed a game. Anyone who would like to come dressed to his service in game day attire to honor his love for the purple and gold is encouraged to do so.
