Henry Reed, 84, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away at his his home on August 19, 2023. Henry was born on January 16, 1939 in Dallas, Texas to Henry and Martha Reed. He leaves behind a loving wife(Alma) of 59 years. He also leaves behind four children including Jamie, Carolyn, Tim, and Raymond as well as four grandchildren, Dejuan, Cherone, Michael, and Tim Jr. all of which he loved dearly.

Henry graduated from Central High School in Louisville, Kentucky in 1956 and immediately enlisted in the Army. Henry proudly served his country in the United States Army for 6 years being honorably discharged with the rank of Staff Sergeant in 1962.

There will be a wake/viewing held on Saturday, September 2nd from 6pm-8pm at AD Porter and Sons Funeral Home located at 1300 W Chestnut Street in Louisville, Kentucky with the Funeral/repast taking place on Sunday September 3 at 2pm.
