Susie Jones, a beloved member of the Louisville community, passed away Unexpectedly on April 28, 2024, at Her Home At the age of 86. She was born on April 4, 1938, in Louisville, Kentucky, where she lived her entire life.

Susie was known for her kind and generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She had a passion for volunteering and spent much of her free time giving back to her community. Whether it was serving meals at a local shelter or organizing charity events, Susie was always eager to make a difference in the lives of others.

Susie was a member of the Horse Cave United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Robert & Jennie Richardson Howell and the wife of the late J.B. Smith. She was also preceded in death by a sister Roberta Howell and a brother Donald Howell.

Susie is survived by three daughters Melinda Branstetter & her husband Billy, Amanda Chaffin & her husband Allen and Cindy Hodges & her husband Tommy; one brother William Nelson “Pickle” Howell; five grandchildren John Thomas Hodges, Seth Hodges, Nicholas Chaffin, Joey Branstetter & Emily Pike; five great-grandchildren Carter Branstetter, Case Branstetter, Rylan Pike, Jayber Hodges & Scarlett Hodges.

Visitation Will Be From Tuesday March 5th From 1pm-4pm With Services, Cremation Will Follow The Visitation. Bartley And Sons Funeral Home Has Been Trusted With Mrs. Jones Care.
