It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of Grace Ross, a beloved member of our community, who passed away on September 30, 2023, in Dolton, Illinois, United States.Born on October 27, 1959, Grace was a ray of sunshine from the moment she came into this world. Her infectious laughter, warm smile, and kind heart touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Grace's presence was like a breath of fresh air, bringing joy and happiness to every room she entered.Grace was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. Family meant the world to her, and she always went above and beyond to ensure their happiness and wellbeing. She was a pillar of strength and support, offering comforting words and a nurturing embrace during both the highs and lows of life.Grace was known for her unwavering dedication to her community. For many years, she volunteered at local charities and worked tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Her selflessness and compassion inspired others to follow in her footsteps and give back to their communities as well.Professionally, Grace was a successful entrepreneur, running her own business and achieving remarkable milestones throughout her career. Her strong work ethic, innovative ideas, and commitment to excellence earned her the respect and admiration of her peers.In her free time, Grace enjoyed gardening, painting, and exploring the world around her. She had an insatiable curiosity and thirst for knowledge, always seeking to learn something new. Grace's inquisitive nature led her on many adventures, allowing her to experience different cultures and broaden her horizons.Grace will forever be remembered for her radiant spirit and contagious optimism. She leaves behind a profound void in the lives of her family and friends, who will cherish her memory eternally.Grace is survived by her loving spouse, children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, and numerous extended family members and friends. Although our hearts ache with grief, we find solace in knowing that Grace's soul is at peace, forever watching over us.In remembrance of Grace Ross, a celebration of life will be held on October 7, 2023, at the Dolton Memorial Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Grace's favorite charity, the Dolton Community Foundation, in her honor.May Grace Ross find eternal rest, and may her spirit continue to inspire us to be the best version of ourselves.
