Flavia Dometila Martinez Flores, born in a small village in San Juan Tela, Honduras, Central America but a cherished resident of Houston, Texas, bid her final farewell on December 15, 2023, at the age of 83. Born on April 24, 1940, Flavia lived a life rich in experiences and touched the hearts of those she encountered. At the age of 18, Flavia left Honduras to pursue a new life and career in New York, USA where she studied further and became an educator. She met the love of her life, Patricio Flores, soon there after and together they raised 6 beautiful children. From Flavia and Patricino's lineage descends 23 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Flavia loved being with her family. Flavia's boundless generosity, captivating smile, and unwavering dedication to those in need will forever be remembered. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, reminding us all to embrace life's joys and extend kindness to others. Flavia Flores, though gone, will forever remain in our hearts. She will be missed by so many, but especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We know that we cannot have her here, but we are happy knowing that God and the angels have called her home. This is not goodbye, but simply, see you later.

Flavia was preceeded in death by her husband: Patricino Valerio Flores; her parents: Louisa and Andres Martinez; and her brother: Ovidio Martinez, Hector Morales and Tony Morales
