In lovely memory

Emma Young Smith was born on September 15, 1934, in the Wilcox County community of Rosebud, AL. She was the daughter of Etheric and Janie Young. At an age, Bmma Young became a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Manistee, AL. She worshipped faithfully for many years, before relocating her membership to Truth Ministries in Frisco City, AL.

She entered the sanctity of Holy Matrimony with Tommie Rankins at a young age. Their union brought about the birth

and love of thirteen children. Mrs. Rankins provided for her family by honest and hardworking means. Throughout her lifetime, she worked as a Domestic Worker in private homes. She was a loving Homemaker and her children meant the world to her. Emma was a devoted and attentive mother. As a member of Truth Ministries, she served in whatever capacity the Lord called her to.
