Douglas graduated from Dunbar High School in 1980. He married Patricia Watson in 25 years , and they lived together in Fort Worth.

Douglas is survived by 5 children: Lekeytha Tinsley , Nicole Tinsley , Ashley Watson, Rarielle Watson , and Felicia Watson . He also is survived by 7 grandchildren.
