Donna Ozier, a beloved member of the Jackson, Mississippi community, passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 57. Born on November 16, 1965, Donna was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. Her presence in the lives of those who knew her will be deeply missed.

Donna was born and raised in Jackson, where she established strong roots and made lasting connections. She attended Jackson High School, where she was known for her infectious laughter and caring nature. After graduation, Donna pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi.

Shortly after completing her studies, Donna met the love of her life, Willie Ozier. The two quickly formed a bond and were united in marriage on June 6, 1987. Their love for each other was evident in every aspect of their lives, and they were inseparable partners, supporting each other through both joyous and challenging times.

Donna and Willie welcomed their first child, Evelyn, in 1991, followed by their son, Willie Jr, in 1994. As a mother, Donna poured her heart and soul into her children's upbringing. She was their number one cheerleader, attending every school event, sports game, and extracurricular activity. She instilled in them values of kindness, compassion, and dedication.

Outside of her role as a wife and mother, Donna was a highly respected professional in the field of accounting. She began her career at a local firm before eventually establishing her own successful accounting practice. Donna was known for her meticulous attention to detail, her expertise in tax law, and her dedication to providing excellent service to her clients. Many relied on her guidance and trusted her implicitly.

Beyond her professional achievements, Donna was deeply involved in various charitable organizations in the Jackson community. She volunteered countless hours to local shelters, food banks, and community centers, always striving to make a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her philanthropic spirit was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Donna had a zest for life that was contagious. She had a passion for travel and delighted in exploring new destinations with her family and close friends. Her adventurous spirit led her to numerous countries, where she immersed herself in diverse cultures and created lasting memories. Whether it was hiking in the mountains or relaxing on a sandy beach, Donna cherished every moment spent discovering the wonders of the world.

Donna's warm smile, genuine kindness, and unwavering loyalty will forever be etched in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and compassion that serves as a testament to the incredible person she was.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Willie Ozier; her children, Evelyn and Willie Jr ; her parents, David and Margaret Nicholson; her siblings, Susan Nicholson and James Nicholson; and numerous extended family members and friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the medical staff at Jackson Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care and support during Donna's illness.

A memorial service to celebrate Donna's life will be held on June 30, 2023, at St. John's Episcopal Church in Jackson, Mississippi. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the American Cancer Society on behalf of Donna Ozier.

Donna's infectious laughter and loving spirit will forever be remembered. May she rest in peace.
