Denise Weekly-Atkins was born into time September 1,1993 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of Katie Atkins and Devery Atkins. She was the eldest of 6 children. Denise was accepted into Christ at a young age and has loved, embraced anyone through her 26 years of living.

Denise received her education from Ludwig Van Beethoven Elementary and Dunbar Vocational Career Academy. Upon graduating from High school in 2011, Denise went on to Richard Daley College when she was blessed with a beautiful baby girl Azari Weekly May 29, 2012. Denise loved spending time with family and friends, whether to celebrate: a birthday, family reunion, Christmas thanksgiving even the 4 of July. Denise and family always prepared enough food to feed the entire block. She loved to have fun, make sure her kids were always good,dress nice and enjoy time with her close loved ones. Denise’s door was always open to those in need, she would be there and help just about anyone, everyone loved Denise.

Denise was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chester B and Lillie Weekly, Denise (Nicey) joyful spirit and loving demeanor will be cherished in the hearts of many, including her loving mother and father Katie Atkins, Devery Atkins; 3 sisters Daronique Weekly( Twin), Tayneequa Thomas, Vennessa Myvett-Atkins (step-sister); 3 brothers Marques Thomas, Chidale Weekly, Devery Atkins Jr. One daughter Azari Weekly, one son Antonio Weekly and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
