BILL SAUNDERS1930-2016Bill Saunders went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2016 at the age of 85 in Houston. A celebration of life will be held at Klein Funeral Home, Champions, on December 1, 2016. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with services to follow 9:30 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Houston National Cemetery at 11:30 am. Bill was born on November 26, 1930 to the late E.E. and Essie Plumlee Saunders in Plainview, TX. He graduated from Sherman High School in 1949. Upon graduation, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps. After honorably serving his country, Bill established a career in the car business.Bill is survived by his three daughters and son; Cynthia Lee and her husband Jim; Susan Caldwell and her husband Fred; Pam Alloway and her husband Jim; Marc Saunders and his wife Jessica. Grandchildren; Eric Wynn and his wife Christy; Amanda Grace Caldwell and Lindsey Caldwell.
