On October 19, 2022, at the age of 76, Beverly Isiah Taylor got his wings.

Beverly Taylor playfully known as "BOB" or "Swaggey T" graduated from Johnson C. Smith with a Masters in Education.

Teaching at Malverne School District for over 33 years. He was an Advocate, a Protector, a Model educator, and a Mentor to his family and his students.

He was one of the best basketball and football coach Malverne ever had. Overall a loving, down to earth and intelligent man who has made a great impact on many lives and will never be forgotten. Preceeding him in death 2 daughters and one grandson (Shinese, Shasia, Shamal) that he has joined in heaven.

He leaves to mourn his wife (Yvonne Taylor) 3 children (Charmaine, Shariff, Chynasia) 4 grandsons (Shamel, Shaheem, Shamori, Chamar), 2 Sister Cousins (Toni and Shelia), great neices and great newphews, Aunties and Uncles, many cousins.

Swaggey T was a friend to all who knew him..., a Big Jokester and a father figure to many. He had a love for people, dogs, plants and most of all his family,

You made sure we felt loved and were able to laugh. The best part were your songs/raps such as, the Chicka Boom, Booger Snot, Stop Sweating Me, and The Original Swaggy T.....

Dad we Miss you and love you and we are glad you are not suffering anymore. Although you have been taken home to a better place you will allways be with us.. Gone but never forgotten....We Mourn you until we Join you.
