MillerAge: 69 • StauntonAnna Ruth (Hooke) Miller, 69, widow of Marshall Davis Miller of 109 Shirey Road, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016, in the University of Virginia Medical Center.Mrs. Miller was born on June 4, 1947 in West Virginia, a daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Potts) Hooke.Anna was employed with Social Services as an APS, she enjoyed watching old sitcoms, playing with her grandson and sitting on the front porch.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Carson Hooke.Surviving is a son, Clement Miller and wife Amanda; two step-daughters, Debbie Root and husband Jack and Donna Ann Miller; four grandchildren, Lawson Miller, Jason Davis, Carrie Doyle and Aaron Root; two great-grandchildren, Stillman and Langston Davis; and a special friend, Charlotte Pomeroy also survive.A Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2016 in Greenhill Cemetery, Churchville by Pastor Brandon Carter.It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the Middlebrook Volunteer Fire and Rescue, P.O.
