We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Alyce Meredith, born on October 5, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois. Alyce, the daughter of Ernest and Joyce River, lived a vibrant life filled with love and laughter. She married the love of her life, Michael Meredith, in 1954, and together they raised three wonderful children: Denise, Cody, and Debra.

Alyce adored her four grandchildren, showering them with affection and homemade treats. She was a dedicated employee at Holy Cross for many years, retiring in 2001. In her spare time, Alyce enjoyed gardening, cultivating beautiful flowers and delicious vegetables.

Alyce touched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth, kindness, and wonderful sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Alyce passed away on May 3, 2024, after a brave battle with cancer. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a cancer research organization in her memory.
