Alma Louise MorrisFARMINGTON - Alma Louise Morris, 94, of Farmington passed away at 7:14 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Heartland Healthcare Center in Canton, IL.She was born on December 8, 1922, in Canton to Emery and Viola Millard. She was married to Elmer Woodrow Morris for 51 years. He preceded her in death.Also preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Thelma Balbinate.Surviving are two daughters, Louisa Morris of Farmington and Sherry (John) Dick of Peoria; and several grandchildren, nieces, uncles and cousins. Alma worked at International Harvester during World War II. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Farmignton.Alma enjoyed art, gardening, camping and being at home with the family.Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington, where a visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. The Rev. Jon Dainty will officiate.
