Mercedes - MERCEDES - Ada Kay St. John (Snell), 73, passed away on Tuesday, November 29th at her residence in Mercedes surrounded by her family.Ada Kay was born on April 13, 1943 in San Antonio, TX to Van C. and Kathryn Snell. She grew up in Harlingen and went to Harlingen High School and Pan American University. She is survived by her loving husband Ronnie St. John, her sons, Tracy White (Melissa) of Mercedes and James Bradley White (Kimberly) of Fort Worth, stepchildren, Jill Marie Butler (Jim), Jeff St. John (Veronica) of Harlingen, and Jan Larsen of New Braunfels, brother, Kenneth Snell of Austin, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1st, from 4pm to 8pm with family present from 5pm - 7pm at McCaleb Funeral Home in Weslaco. Funeral service is scheduled for Friday, December 2, 2016, 2pm at First United Methodist Church in Mercedes. Officiating the service is Pastor Rev. Michael Quist with First United Methodist Church.Funeral arrangements are under the care of McCaleb Funeral Home of Weslaco.
