Pamela BowmanCanton,MSPamela L. Bowman 64, of Canton, MS was called home to be with the Lord on February 26th, 2017 in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be Thursday March 2, 2017 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home from 1-3 p.m. Memorial Service will be held Thursday March 2, 2017 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m.Pamela was born on December 28, 1952 to Floyd & Pauline Lowery in Jackson, MS where she grew up. She attended and graduated from Provine High School in Jackson, MS. She went on to MS. College and earned a Master's Degree in Hospital Administration. She worked for the Veterans Administration Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist and later a Clinical Application Coordinator. Pam was a member of the Deerfield Country Club as well as the MS Women's Golf Association. She loved golf as well as spending time with her friends and family on the beach. Pam was an outgoing woman with a vivacious personality who could light up a room. Most of all Pam was a loving wife and a wonderful mother and a great friend who was dearly loved.She is preceded in death by her parents Floyd & Pauline Lowery and one brother, Keeston Lowery.She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Mr. John O. Bowman of Madison, MS., one son, Chad O. Bowman of Madison, MS., one daughter, Ashley Bowman Middleton and her husband Paul of Cumming, GA., four grandchildren., Katelynn Bowman of Madison, MS., Chandler Bowman of Madison, MS., Keeston "Key" Middleton of Cumming, GA, and Reed Middleton of Cumming, GA.In lieu of flowers the family wishes all donations be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center Childens Art Project, www.childrensart.org
