Willie T. Lee, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, peacefully departed from this world on 9/1/2023. He was born on June 13, 1938, in Shreveport, Louisiana, and his life was a testament to love, family, and resilience.

Willie was a pillar of strength and kindness, a man whose warm smile and gentle spirit left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. He married the love of his life, Margie, and together they shared a bond that endured for a lifetime, setting an example of unwavering love and commitment for their 6 children.


Family was the center of Willie's universe, and he reveled in the joy of raising his children Lakedra Preston, Lashay Lee, Nicole Preston, Willie Lee JR , Christopher Preston and, Kaleb Preston, guiding them through life's journey. His legacy extends beyond his immediate family to include 10 grandchildren Kiesha Preston, Willie Lee III, Johnathan Qualls, Karamya Preston, Mieko Lee, Mar 'Jaye Lee, Jaylan Preston, Michael Thomas, Amorie' Jones, Marqualon Banks, Markael Banks and 16 great-grandchildren, all of whom adored their "Paw-Paw" and will forever cherish the memories they created together.


Willie T. Lee was a man of many talents, known for his hard work and dedication throughout his life. He embraced each day with an open heart and a determination to provide for his family. His strength was not only physical but also emotional, as he faced a courageous battle against prostate cancer in the comfort of his home.

In his quiet moments, Willie found solace in his love for music, and his harmonious melodies often filled the air, bringing joy to those around him. He had a deep appreciation for nature and often shared his wisdom about the beauty of life's simplest pleasures.

Though Willie T. Lee has departed from this world, his memory will live on in the hearts of his loving family and friends. His legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to family will continue to inspire us all.
