William S. Sigafoos Jr.MANSFIELD: William S. Sigafoos Jr., 69, of Mansfield passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Arbors of Mifflin. William was born on September 12, 1947 in Ashland, OH. He was the beloved son of William S. Sigafoos Sr. and Myra A. (Rush) Sigafoos. William was a devoted and dedicated father who took pride in taking care of his children, that he raised on his own. He was employed at Ideal Electric for 45 years and had established a superior work ethic of which he passed down to his children.William leaves behind his children, Lynda (Howard) Henderson, Mark (Jennifer) Sigafoos, Kimberly Hout, and Matthew (Audra) Sigafoos; a step-daughter, Lisa (James) Thompson; nine grandchildren, Rachel Henderson, Bradley, Steven, Kris, Brooklyn, and Emma Sigafoos, and Nicholas and Reilly Hout; two nieces; a nephew; sister, Elaine (Tom) Conley; special friends, Mark Lucas, Bruce Shaffer, Jayme Hout, Bill Profit, and Gene Holmes; and his two favorite pets, his red-headed granddog, Peggy Sue and his cat, Loki.. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Sigafoos. The family would like to thank Arbors of Mifflin and Southern Care Hospice for the excellent care that William received.The family will welcome friends from 1-3pm on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St. The funeral service officiated by Pastor Robert Hupp will follow at 3pm. Burial will take place at Windsor Park Cemetery on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 10am.
