It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Willamina Simmons, who was born on June 8, 1942, and peacefully left this world on May 5, 2024, in Chicago, Illinois, United States.

Willamina was the daughter of Ezell and Gloria, and the loving spouse of Robert, whom she married in the year 37. Together, they raised four wonderful children, Mary Davis (spouse Dale Davis), Lisa Smith (spouse Tony Smith), Rick Simmons, and Earl Simmons. Willamina attended Wendell Phillips High School, where she graduated in 1960. She had a passion for cooking and could often be found in the kitchen, preparing delicious meals for her family and friends.

Willamina will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
