Wendy Ann LawlorJuly 3, 1972Mar 4, 2017Wendy Ann Lawlor, 44, passed away in her sleep at home on March 4th in Sparks, Nevada. Wendy was born on July 3rd, 1972 in Reno, Nevada to Richard and Louise O'Rourke.Wendy grew up in Sparks and graduated from Sparks High School in 1990. After high school she attended Truckee Meadows Community College School of Nursing where she received her Degree in Nursing. She worked locally as an RN for over 21 years.Wendy married Darren Lawlor in 1994 in Sparks. They were happily married for 22 years. Wendy was a member of Cavalry Chapel. She enjoyed horses and loved spending time with her family at the Oregon Sand Dunes.Wendy is survived by her spouse Darren and children Roman and Teagan of Sparks; her brothers John and Paul O'Rourke. Wendy also had several nieces, nephews and other relatives.Wendy was preceded in death by her son Liam Lawlor.A funeral service will be held at Mountain View Mortuary, 425 Stoker Avenue at 10:00 am Saturday, March 11th. Following the service, all are welcome to celebrate her life at John and Stephanie's home, and will be announced after the service.
