Wanda Lee Phelps, 65Clearwater, MinnsotaApr. 9, 1952 ~ Aug. 22, 2017Funeral services celebrating the life of Wanda Lee Phelps, 65, of Clearwater will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clear Lake.  Wanda passed away at home on Tuesday, August 22, 2017.  Reverend George Sagissor will officiate.  Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Clearwater.Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Daniel Funeral Home in Clearwater with a prayer service to be held at 7:30 p.m.   Visitation will continue on Monday beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the church.Wanda was born on April 9, 1952 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Robert and Eleanor (Ewald) Howard and they moved to St. Cloud in 1968.  She graduated from Tech High School in 1970.  Wanda married Gary Lee Phelps on April 8, 1972 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in St. Cloud.  They moved to Clearwater in 1976.   Wanda was employed for the St. Cloud School District for many years prior to Great River Regional Library in Clearwater.  Wanda was devoted to her faith and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.Wanda treasured spending time with her family and will be remembered as a loving, selfless and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend.She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Gary; daughters, Kimberly (Marv) Jonas of Clearwater, Jennifer Campbell of Avon; Patricia (Scott) Tellers of Rice; 13 grandchildren; two great greatgrandchildren and two on the way; brother, Robert (Sarah) Howard of South Carolina; sister, Donna Howard of Iowa; and mother-in-law, Cecelia "Sally" Phelps of Brooklyn Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son-in-law, Ron Campbell.Memorials are preferred.
