    Terrance Brown, age 68, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. He was born on November 7, 1957, in Troy, Alabama, to the late Ella Maxine Brown and Cecil Brown.

    Terrance was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, mentor, and friend whose kindness, strength, and creativity touched countless lives. He graduated from Central Senior High School in 1974 and went on to build a respected career as a contractor, working on projects throughout Minneapolis. He took great pride in his craftsmanship and the lasting impact of his work throughout the community.

    Outside of work, Terrance found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time fishing, where he found peace and reflection. An accomplished painter, he generously shared his artistic talents by teaching many young people how to paint, encouraging them to express themselves through creativity and inspiring confidence in the next generation.

    Terrance leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by his children: Terrance Brown, Essence Franklin, Chanika McLane, Terrisa Brown, Talena Peters, Camille Franklin, Nadine Franklin, Tatika Matthews, Ayana Brown, and Reyna Brown.

    He is also survived by his beloved siblings: Shawn Brown, Damon Brown, Demitri Brown, Collin Brown, Tamara Liggons Brown, and Stephanie Brown.

    Terrance was the proud grandfather of 36 grandchildren, great-grandfather of 7 great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandfather of 1. His love for his family was immeasurable, and he found his greatest joy in watching each generation grow and thrive.

    Terrance will be remembered for his generous heart, hardworking spirit, artistic gifts, and unwavering love for his family and community. His wisdom, laughter, and willingness to help others will be deeply missed but will continue to live on in the lives he touched.

    Though he has departed this earthly life, his legacy of love, creativity, and perseverance will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
