Virginia Lewis Thompson Butler was born on February 8th 1942 in Caroline County Virginia, to the late Charlotte Lewis and Junior Walker.She also had help being raised by her late Aunt Earline Banks. She got married to the late Harold Thompson on November 21st of 1962 along with the marriage came 4 kids. Lillian Lisa Thompson,  Marsha M.Thompson Dorsey, Harold D  Thompson and late Alfred T. Thompson. Virginia Aka Jenny was blessed with 7 grand daughter's Tangerline Tt Thompson , Denisha Lovetta Jordan ,Janea J. Johnson ,Erin Larae Thompson , Diamond Lashay Thompso ,Jada Ivy Thompson, and Destiny Gwendolyn Thompson. 1 Grandson's D'Andre Tavon Thompaon. 1 Great grand daughter Daquawn Lashell Thompson. 2 Great great grand daughter Bella Love Thompson, And Chloe Gia Thompson. And 1 Great grear grandson Kai Nyan Thompson. And 1 Son in law Anthony L. Williams. And 1 Daughter in law Shelly Bennett. Jenny later married Thomas Hurbert Butler on January 3, 2018 they shared there special marrage until God called Her home. They also Shared a host of other adopted children, grand children and family. We Would also like to acknowledge her very special cousin/sister Rosa Logan And her late husband Roger Logan.

Mrs. Jenny one of a kind, a special kind of lady, God fearing lady, she loved her family and friends she loved church an she would have it in a house, a church any were she could. And didn’t mind praying for anyone at anytime just so she could spread the good word of our lord Jesus Christ. She made sure everyone of her children, and grandchildren heard the word of god. Jenny was a loving woman an will be very well missed by all that came in contact with her. Also anyone that knew Evangelist Thompson would know that she was known for her creative Hats. A lot of times she made her hats along with her dresses by hand. She had a beautiful Smile, And a Worming loving touch. She also had half brother's an sister's that she didn't know until she became older.

Mama you prepared me for this day along with my siblings and you thought us very young who we needed to call on. Though out your sickness's, Your good days and trying times you raised us by the grace of God to look to God and Trust him in every situation. Mama I gave you your flowers just like you asked while you were living. No one other than God can replace you. Till we meet again. You already told me you have your crown there was no doubt in your mind. I'm going to miss you. But one of these days by the grace of God.
