Verla Benjamin, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on January 4, 2026, in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. Born on August 12, 1953, to Veryl and Beulah, Verla brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.

Verla leaves behind a legacy of love and memories with her five children: Roger, Heather, Kimberlee, Ashlee, and Tina. Her kindness and warmth will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Verla also leaves behind ten adoring grandchildren, who will always cherish the special moments they shared with their grandmother.

Verla faced her illness with grace and courage, embodying strength until the very end. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, generous spirit, and unwavering love for her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to cancer research in Verla's honor. She may be gone, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
