Tuwana Bowles, 43, of Boston, Massachusetts, passed on Monday, February 11,2019. Tuwana was born to Robert Bowles, and Theresa Taylor, June 11, 1975 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Tuwana graduated from Pentucket Regional High School in 1993 and received a degree from Quincy College in 1998. Tuwana worked at Harvard University where she was adored by everyone she worked with and for.  Tuwana is survived by 2 children: Treshawn Bowles, and Kayla Bowles. Tuwana was also survived by her siblings: Nicole Maida, James Ellison, Sherika Ellison, Jermaine Ellison, Dane Bowles, Kiara Bowles, Iesha Brown and an abundance of aunts, uncles and cousins. She had a passion for helping everyone she came in contact with even if she didn’t know them. Her willingness to give her last or to serve others was a priority for her.  Tuwana’s ability and willingness to change her life and walk with God was something that she took pride in. She loved to write even as a small child her love for reading and writing were her favorite things to do. She loved spending time with her family and friends and could put a smile on anyone’s face. She was committed to providing a loving and warm home for her family. Tuwana was extremely proud of both of her children's endeavors. Although Tuwana battled with cancer over the last 16 months of her life she remained strong and committed to her children, family and friends. Her laugh made others laugh and although it was loud it was infectious and full of life. Funeral Services will be private at the family’s request.
