Tonya Smith, born on May 1, 1957, peacefully passed away on February 19, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio, United States. She was the beloved daughter of Curtis Smith.

Tonya attended East High School, where she excelled academically and graduated in 1976. She went on to pursue higher education at Central State University, where she further expanded her knowledge and skills.

Aside from her dedication to her education, Tonya had a passion for jazz music. She found solace and joy in listening to jazz, allowing its melodies to uplift her spirits and bring a sense of peace to her soul.

Throughout her life, Tonya touched the hearts of many with her kind and gentle spirit. She was known for her warm smile and compassionate nature, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Despite not having any children of her own, Tonya was a beloved aunt and friend to many. She cherished her relationships and valued the connections she had with those closest to her.
